Rome, May 4, 2023 – The “Historical Trademarks of Italy” stamp series was unveiled today at the Tapestry Hall of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. The five companies that have been awarded their own stamp, and can boast the title “Historic Mark of Italy” because they have been in business for more than 50 years, are De Cecco, Cirio, Vismara, Santa Rosa and Ambrosoli.
The stamp series “Historical Trademarks” was created at the proposal ofAssociation of Italian Historical Trademarks, to enhance the entrepreneurial history of our country.
“In Italy, the Historical Trademarks constitute indispensable pillars of the business fabric.” – Commented Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso – “Their historicity and authenticity are now internationally recognized values by both consumers and entrepreneurs, and that is why they must be protected and promoted. In our country there are 50 thousand Historical Trademarks businesses: they need valorization, which we think we can achieve more fully in the next framework law on Made in Italy, dedicated to strengthening Made in Italy in every aspect.”

The efforts of ‘Association of Italian Historical Trademarks will also continue during the presentation of the related amendments to the budget maneuver at Made in Italy. The Association will work for the reorganization of business incentives, important opportunities for the definition of ad hoc measures for development, and for the protection and enhancement of Historical Trademarks.
