Imprese e Competenze per il Made in Italy Foundation and Association of Italian Historical Trademarks: signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the Enhancement of Made in Italy

Rome, February 26, 2026 – A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between the “Imprese e Competenze per il Made in Italy” Foundation and the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks for the promotion and enhancement of Made in Italy. The objective of the agreement – signed by the Foundation’s President, Dr. Giovanni Brugnoli, the Association’s President, Eng. Massimo Caputi, and the Association’s Deputy Vice President and President of the Historical Trademarks Youth Group, Cav. del Lav. Dr. Armando De Nigris, at the end of the Foundation’s presentation event – is to strengthen the collaboration between the production system and the educational system: in fact, with the signing, a structured collaboration aimed at enhancing Italy’s industrial heritage as an educational, cultural and developmental lever for the new generations will be launched.

Among the first lines of action under the Protocol-the first agreement formally approved by the Board of Directors of the Foundation operating under the aegis of Mimit-are the launch of a National Program of educational trips and training courses at Historical Trademarks Museums and Companies, collaboration in the enhancement of the contents of the Permanent National Exhibition of Made in Italy, contribution to the annual “Master of Made in Italy” Award, and participation in the Made in Italy Job Tour orientation initiatives.

“The foundation’s goal is to enhance the companies and skills of our Made in Italy,” explains Foundation President Giovanni Brugnoli, “The agreement we sign with the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks kicks off a collaboration in which companies that have made history and our country and contributed to the enhancement of Made in Italy come into direct contact with young people, to ensure that the Made in Italy brand continues over time and grows even more. We thus give our young people as a dowry the history and wisdom of those who have made Italy great.”

“Historical Trademarks are not just businesses, but living places of productive memory, innovation and social responsibility,” commented Massimo Caputi, President of the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks. “Through this Protocol we intend to put at the service of young people the National Network of Historical Trademarks, a heritage that includes business museums, archives, production sites and skills that tell the authentic value of Made in Italy. We believe that the encounter between the education system and the production system is a strategic lever to strengthen the orientation, awareness and employability of the new generations.”
