Identitalia arrives in Venice Mestre, inaugurated the exhibition of Made in Italy excellence
“This exhibition encapsulates the best of Italian entrepreneurial genius and represents a fundamental piece of Made in Italy in the world. The more than 100 Historical Trademarks on display constitute a unique and priceless heritage: realities often born from the intuition of a single person and handed down from generation to generation, until they become icons of the collective imagination and symbols of our industrial history,” said Urso. “It is no coincidence that today we celebrate them here in Venice, the city where the first patent law was passed in 1474, introducing the first form of intellectual property protection in Europe,” he concluded.
“The collaboration with the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and the institutions involved is a source of great pride for us and allows us to bring a new angle to the Museum’s narrative of our country’s history-a history of innovation, knowledge and expertise, from design to manufacturing,” Vincenzo Marinese stressed. “Made in Italy is appreciated all over the world, and exhibitions like this one allow us to consolidate our identity and the strength not so much of savoir-faire, but of knowing how to do it well. This is what we are all about. And this is what will make us increasingly authoritative and sought after internationally, as confirmed by our export figures.” , he concluded.
“After the great success with the public in Rome in 2024, we are convinced that this new opening, in collaboration with M9, can help further spread awareness of the entrepreneurial stories that represent the heart of Made in Italy, as the intangible heritage of our industry. Here we do not only exhibit objects, but the brands that, with their creativity and identity, have made the history of our country,” commented Armando De Nigris.
“The Chambers of Commerce are proud to participate in this initiative,” said Roberto Bottan, also on behalf of Unioncamere President Andrea Prete. “The Chambers collaborate with the Ministry in the dissemination of a business culture attentive to the protection of industrial property, as a key asset for the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. Initiatives such as this exhibition testify to Mimit’s commitment to promoting our production system in Italy and abroad. Applause also goes to M9-Museo del ‘900, as an ideal setting to welcome Identitalia, contributing to the revitalization of Made in Italy and the territories from which it generates.”
The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich program of events. Special attention will be paid to training and dissemination paths on brand building and visual identity processes. The initiative is part of the iNEST Project – Interconnected Northeast Innovation Ecosystem, funded by the PNRR.
It will be possible to visit Identitalia from Sept. 27 to Feb. 15, at M9 – Museo del ‘900 di Venezia Mestre, during the following hours:
