Made in Italy, Caputi (Historical Trademarks): “Good President Meloni on protecting Italian excellence and recognizing Historical Trademarks”
“We are very pleased with what President Meloni announced today on the protection of Made in Italy, words that confirm the government’s willingness to protect Italian excellence from being sold off to preying foreign investors. Good, therefore, to accompany the next Budget Law with an ad hoc annex on the enhancement and protection of Made in Italy, in which we hope to find specific measures that will allow Italian companies holding Historical Trademarks to develop and not succumb to acquisitions resulting from the pressure of foreign buyers with greater availability of capital.”
This is according to Massimo Caputi, President ofAssociation of Italian Historical Trademarks, commenting on today’s words of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni delivered at the National Assembly of Confartigianato.
