FELICETTI PASTA FACTORY JOINS THE ASSOCIATION OF ITALIAN HISTORICAL TRADEMARKS

Listed in the Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest on June 6, 2024, Pastificio Felicetti is one of the historic leaders in the Italian food industry, with over a century of experience in producing high-quality pasta, deeply rooted in the Val di Fiemme region and the values of “Made in Italy.”

The company’s history began in 1908, when Valentino Felicetti acquired the Prima Fabbrica Fiemmese di Paste Alimentari, launching an entrepreneurial journey that would span five generations of the family. From the very beginning, the pasta factory has based its growth on the quality of its raw materials and the region’s natural resources, particularly mountain water, an essential element of the production process.

In the 1920s, with Emilio Felicetti taking the helm, the company consolidated its operations while maintaining an artisanal production process that—despite the intense pace—already placed great emphasis on product quality. A particularly difficult time came in 1945, when a violent fire completely destroyed the factory. Thanks to the determination of the Felicetti family and the support of the entire local community, the pasta factory was rebuilt in less than nine months, and production resumed quickly.

Starting in the 1950s, the company gradually expanded its market, launching its first exports to Austria. A new phase of development began in 1970 with the arrival of Valentino Felicetti as CEO, who, a few years later, made a strategic decision that would change the future of the company: the acquisition of Pastificio Cielo in Rovereto and the relocation of its production facilities to Predazzo, enabling a significant increase in production capacity.

In the 1980s, Pastificio Felicetti reaffirmed its commitment to innovation by investing in new information technologies and the modernization of its facilities. The subsequent generational transition, which took place in 1995 with Riccardo, Paolo, and Stefano Felicetti, significantly accelerated the company’s international expansion and the consolidation of the brand in major foreign markets.

In 2004, Monograno Felicetti was launched—a premium line made with selected single-variety grains, designed for the fine dining sector and internationally recognized as a symbol of Italian excellence. In the years that followed, the company’s growth continued with significant investments in innovation, sustainability, and production development, culminating in 2022 with the opening of the new plant in Molina di Fiemme, designed according to criteria of high energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Today, Pastificio Felicetti is a company recognized internationally for the quality of its pasta and its ability to combine family tradition, technological innovation, and respect for the environment. In 2025, the active involvement of the fifth generation of the Felicetti family reaffirms the entrepreneurial continuity that has been one of the company’s key strengths for over 115 years.
