Leonardo Award 2025: De Nigris 1889 honored for excellence in the Made in Italy

On the occasion of the National Day of Made in Italy, on April 15, 2025, the Leonardo Award ceremony was held at Villa Madama in Rome, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Hon. Giorgia Meloni, the highest institutional officials and the Italian business world.

Among the protagonists of the day, De Nigris 1889, our Associate, received the prestigious Italian Quality Award, given to companies that stand out for excellence, innovation and enhancement of Made in Italy in the world.

Founded over 135 years ago, De Nigris 1889 is today an international leader in the production of vinegars and condiments. A family business that has been able to combine tradition and modernity, with a strong vocation forexports (85 percent of volumes) andsustainable innovation-as evidenced by the recent acquisition of Benefit Society status.

During his speech, the Cav. del Lav. Armando de Nigris reminded that:

“To make quality, you need quality people. Attention to people and their training become, along with the raw materials, the palette with which the artist creates his masterpiece.”

The award confirms the Group’s entrepreneurial vision, supported by the fundamental contribution of brothers Raffaele and Luca, and recognizes the value of a company that employs more than 300 families, with an annual turnover of about 100 million euros.
