EUIPO’s SME 2025 Fund for industrial property incentives kicks off

The Association Historical Trademarks of Italy reports an important opportunity for Italian small and medium-sized enterprises: from February 3, 2025, it will be possible to access European incentives for industrial property protection through the SME 2025 Fund promoted by EUIPO.

The protection of trademarks, patents and designs/models is now a strategic factor for business competitiveness. This fund offers the possibility of obtaining refunds of up to 2,500 euros for patents, 700 euros for trademarks and designs, and 500 euros for plant varieties.

The call is open to all SMEs in the European Union, including those that have already benefited from the fund in previous years and will be eligible for a simplified procedure in 2025.

Applications must be submitted through the EUIPO website, and funds will be available until Dec. 5, 2025, unless the 22.5 million budget is exhausted.
