New Register of Cultural and Creative Enterprises: special recognition for Historical Trademarks of National Interest

L’Association of Italian Historical Trademarks warmly welcomes the establishment at the Ministry of Culture of theRegister of Cultural and Creative Enterprises of National Interest, an important recognition for the protection and enhancement of Italy’s entrepreneurial heritage.

Thanks to the contribution of our Association, the ministerial decree stipulates that companies holding Historical Trademarks of National Interest registered in the UIBM Register, qualified as cultural and creative enterprises, are automatically eligible for registration in the Register. This represents a significant step forward in the protection and promotion of businesses that, due to their history, prestige and strategic importance, are considered excellences of Made in Italy.

As stipulated in the law on Made in Italy, registration in the Register also entails registration in the portal of the National Archival System of the Ministry of Culture, in order to additionally safeguard the historical archives of Italian companies, especially companies holding Historical Trademarks. Registered businesses will be able to boast the official designation of “Cultural and Creative Enterprise of National Interest,” enhancing their prestige and visibility in the economic and cultural landscape.
