The “Scoperta Imprenditoriale II” initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy as part of the Fund for Sustainable Growth, supports projects focused on technological innovation and the development of new products, processes, and services.

What It Funds

Funding is provided for industrial research and experimental development projects, with a particular focus on Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), including:

  • Artificial Intelligence;
  • advanced manufacturing systems;
  • advanced materials and nanotechnology;
  • photonics and micro/nanoelectronics;
  • life sciences technologies;
  • Connectivity and digital security.

Projects must be carried out in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, or Sicily, with eligible costs ranging from 1 to 5 million euros and a duration of 18 to 36 months.

The measure provides for subsidized financing covering 40% of eligible costs and a direct grant toward the following expenses:

  • 40% for small businesses;
