Marcello De Nigris named president of Federalimentare’s Young Entrepreneurs

The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is pleased to share an important milestone involving one of its Members and a member of the Association’s Youth Group.

On May 13, 2026, Marcello De Nigris was unanimously elected president of Federalimentare’s Young Entrepreneurs Group for the four-year period 2026-2030.

Representing the fourth generation of the family at the helm of De Nigris 1889, a reality recognized as Historical Trademarks of National Interest and an international reference point in the field of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and condiments, Marcello De Nigris succeeds Guglielmo Gennaro Auricchio at the end of a mandate characterized by significant membership growth and strong internal cohesion.

With an international background also gained at Hult International Business School, De Nigris now holds the position of Key Account Manager within the family business, contributing to the development of the brand in more than 95 foreign markets through the Group’s four production facilities.

In his speech following his appointment, the Neo-President stressed his desire to strengthen the role of young entrepreneurs as a driver of innovation for the Italian food industry, focusing on internationalization, digital transformation of supply chains, sustainability, and enhancing the value of Made in Italy.

The goals of the new mandate also include greater integration among the excellences of the Sistema-Paese, fostering collaborations between strategic supply chains and supporting the role of family businesses engaged in generational turnover, considered custodians of Italian know-how.

The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks congratulates Marcello De Nigris on this prestigious appointment, wishing him well in his four-year leadership of Federalimentare’s Young Entrepreneurs.
