Ullmann joins Association of Italian Historical Trademarks
The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks welcomes among its members Ullmann, a reference reality in distribution in the hardware, tools, construction and colors sectors, officially registered in the Register of Historical Trademarks since January 15, 2025.
Founded in Genoa in 1931 thanks to the resourcefulness of Enrico Armando Ullmann, the company today represents a concrete example of entrepreneurial continuity and capacity for evolution, now in its third generation at the helm. A path that has been able to combine family tradition and innovation, always keeping quality, reliability and customer care at the center.
Over the decades, Ullmann has built its identity through a strong international focus, selecting and testing highly specialized companies around the world to offer professional tools capable of standing out in the market. The entire product lifecycle is managed directly: from supplier selection to launching, to widespread distribution throughout the country.
A distinctive element is also the company organization, founded on a synergistic work between customer care, sales office and administration, supported by a network of area managers who represent a real team of qualified consultants on the territory.
Ullmann’s history is marked by significant milestones that testify to its ability to anticipate market changes. In the years of post-war reconstruction, the company was among the first to introduce do-it-yourself tools to Italy. In the 1960s it brought to the country the Miller Sprayer, an innovative portable compressor from the United States. In the following decades it introduced iconic products from Japan, such as Tajima breaker blades and Snowman markers, until the 1990s saw innovative solutions such as extra-flexible synthetic spatulas and non-toxic markers.
Constant commitment to quality and innovation is also confirmed by the achievement of ISO 9001:2005 certification and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) authorization issued by the Customs Agency.
With the recognition of Historical Trademark, Ullmann joins a reality that enhances Italian entrepreneurial excellence capable of representing the values of Made in Italy over time. An achievement that rewards a long history of expertise, vision and adaptability, projecting the company toward new future challenges.
By joining the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks, Ullmann is helping to strengthen the heritage of expertise and industrial tradition represented by historical trademarks, authentic witnesses to the country’s manufacturing excellence.
