1000 HISTORICAL TRADEMARKS EVENT – APRIL 15, 2026
On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day, next April 15, 2026, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks promote the institutional event “1000 Historical Trademarks for the Future of Made in Italy,” which will be held in Rome at Palazzo Piacentini – Salone degli Arazzi, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The initiative represents a moment of special significance dedicated to celebrating the milestone of 1,000 Historical Trademarks of National Interest registered in the Special Register and to highlighting the contribution these enterprises make to the economic, cultural and territorial development of the country.
The morning will open with an institutional moment, in the presence of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Sen. Adolfo Urso, dedicated to the role of public policies in the valorization of Made in Italy and Historical Trademarks as a national industrial and identity heritage.
During the event, the new financial instrument for the development of Historical Trademarks, introduced as part of the annual Law on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, will be presented, which is an evolution of the Enterprise Preservation Fund and offers new opportunities for the growth, consolidation and strengthening of production chains.
This will be followed by the presentation of the Report “Italy’s 1000 Historical Trademarks of National Interest,” which provides an analysis of the economic contribution, territorial distribution and development prospects of Historical Trademark-holding companies.
A central part of the initiative will be devoted to the issues of business culture and the younger generation, with the presentation of the Historical Trademarks Youth Campaign “Together, We Make the Future” and a reflection on the role of Historical Trademarks as an integral part of the country’s cultural heritage.
The morning will continue with a panel of Historical Trademark holder companies, dedicated to the theme “Being Historical Trademarks: leverage for the company and the country,” in which concrete experiences and development strategies will be shared, with a focus on the relationship between tradition and innovation, market positioning, and growth and internationalization processes.
The event will conclude with a summary moment dedicated to the role of Historical Trademarks in the context of industrial policies and development strategies of the national production system.
