Dentamaro joins the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks
The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is pleased to announce the entry among its Members of Dentamaro, a historic Apulian brand registered in the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest as of September 14, 2023, established by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT).
The history of the Dentamaro brand has its roots in the Land of Bari, where in 1893 Nicola Dentamaro started the business of bottling and marketing olive oil, leveraging a long family tradition in the olive oil industry. Since its origins, the company has stood out for its care for quality and for the enhancement of genuine and authentic products, the result of skilled craftsmanship handed down over time.
Today Dentamaro represents one of the most significant realities of the Apulian food scene, recognized for a solid tradition deeply rooted in the territory, like the ancient olive trees that characterize the region’s landscape. In more than 130 years of history, the brand has contributed in a decisive way to the enhancement of Made in Italy oil, becoming a reference point for quality, identity and connection with the territory.
Entry in the Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest is an important recognition of the historical and cultural value of the Dentamaro brand, as well as a source of pride for the company and the entire Apulian territory.
With the entry of Dentamaro, the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks welcomes a reality that authentically embodies the Italian agricultural and food tradition, the protection of artisan know-how and the ability to preserve the excellence of Made in Italy over time.
Welcome Dentamaro among the Historical Trademarks of Italy!
