Zacchera Hotels honored at Italian Tourism Awards for Sustainable Tourism
Zacchera Hotels, a reality led by Dr. Zacchera, a member of the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks, was honored at the Italian Tourism Awards in the Sustainable Tourism category.
The awards ceremony took place on December 10, 2025 in the prestigious setting of The St. Regis Rome, during the national event Italian Tourism Awards – The Night of Excellence, later broadcast on Rai 2.
The award, one of the most authoritative in the Italian tourism scene, is given to entities that stand out for their professionalism, innovation and strategic vision, contributing in a concrete way to strengthening the role of Italian tourism internationally.
The award given to Zacchera Hotels represents the confirmation of a path built over time, based on a responsible approach to hospitality and a deep attention to the territory and local communities.
Over the years, the group has developed practices geared toward efficiency, waste reduction and social responsibility, making sustainability a structural element of its corporate identity. Among the initiatives that have contributed to the award is the traceability of production processes, which makes it possible to accurately monitor food surpluses and allocate them to Caritas of Verbania, thanks to a structured collaboration with Emporio Solidale. A concrete example of how innovation and responsibility can translate into actions that benefit the community.
