Amaro Alpino joins the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks

The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is pleased to announce the entry among its Members of the Amaro Alpino brand, registered as of March 8, 2024 in the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest, established by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

Founded in Trento in 1930 by Agostino Pontillo, Distilleria Alpina S.r.l. combines the tradition of Sicilian bitters with local alpine botanicals. Since 2020, under the leadership of the Sembenotti brothers, the company has confirmed its role as an Italian excellence in the production of liqueurs.

The Amaro Alpino brand is synonymous with tradition, quality and craftsmanship. Its landmark product, the eponymous bitters, is made with a blend of 22 alpine botanicals, including gentian, juniper berries, sage and elderflower, combining flavor, history and territory in a nationally and internationally recognized liqueur.

With the entry of Amaro Alpino, the Association welcomes a brand that transforms over ninety years of distilling history and passion into a cultural and production heritage of national value.

Welcome Amaro Alpino among the Historical Trademarks of Italy!
