Stage 5 of the Giro d’Italia and the “Made in Italy” Job Tour in Bari
On October 20, the fifth stop of the Giro d’Italia and the “Made in Italy” Job Tour took place in Bari at the headquarters of Confindustria Bari and BAT. The event was a day dedicated to fostering dialogue among businesses, institutions, schools, and young people on the topics of skills, training, and employment.
The initiative, organized by the Fondazione Imprese e Competenze per il Made in Italy—of whichthe Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is a partner—focused on training and career opportunities in Italian manufacturing sectors, highlighting “Made in Italy” not only as a symbol of product excellence but also as a wealth of skills, knowledge, creativity, and innovation.
Among the presentations of the day, Marina Lalli, CEO of Terme di Margherita di Savoia, and Gabriele Presti, Head of Strategy, Finance & Procurement at F. Divella S.p.A.—both members of the Association—shared their respective entrepreneurial experiences, highlighting the value of expertise in the tourism and agri-food sectors.

The program also included a Job Day dedicated to bringing together students, companies, the ITS Academy, and employment agencies, as well as an afternoon roundtable discussion on the future of “Made in Italy” and strategies for attracting and nurturing talent, thereby strengthening the link between the manufacturing sector, education, and the workforce.

The participation of the Association’s members provided an important opportunity to share practical experiences and highlight the contribution of businesses and Historical Trademarks to the growth of the Italian manufacturing sector. The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks thus reaffirms its commitment, in collaboration with the Foundation, to promoting the nation’s entrepreneurial heritage and fostering the skills of the younger generations, which are essential for the future of Made in Italy.
