AURORA PENS JOINS ASSOCIATION OF ITALIAN HISTORICAL TRADEMARKS
The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is pleased to announce the addition to its membership of Aurora Penne, a historic Turin-based company entered in the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest on March 24, 2026.
Founded in 1919 in Turin, Aurora represents Italian excellence in the production of writing instruments, leather goods, watches and paper. The company is distinguished by its passion for beauty, style and attention to quality details, values that, combined with constant research, make it an authentic ambassador of Made in Italy in the world.
A distinctive feature of Aurora is the ability, unique in Italy and rare internationally, to produce the nib, the heart of the pen, in-house. This expertise makes it possible to offer customers a highly personalized experience, geared toward true tailoring of writing, as well as the production of prestigious limited and numbered editions dedicated to collectors.
Led by the Verona family, which has been involved in the industry for four generations, Aurora is now the only authentically Italian brand in its own production area, with a single factory in Turin. Over time, the company has been able to combine traditional craftsmanship and technological innovation, flanking high-precision workmanship with techniques typical of the goldsmithing tradition, using precious materials and metals.
Recognized internationally as a symbol of excellence, the Aurora brand exports about 70 percent of its production to more than 50 countries, with an established presence in Europe, America, Asia and the United Arab Emirates, including through single-brand stores and dedicated corners.
