Omega Brushworks joins Association of Italian Historical Trademarks

The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is pleased to announce the entry among its Members of the Omega Paintbrush Factory, enrolled as of May 11, 2022 in the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest, established by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

The history of the Omega Paintbrush Factory began in 1931, when the company was taken over by the present family, after an initial start-up dating back to the years immediately following World War I. Originally specializing in the processing of pig bristles, the business evolved after World War II to the production of shaving brushes and later paint brushes.

Beginning in the 1980s, the production of industrial brushes was joined by that of paint rollers, which over time would become one of the most prominent components of the OMEGA-branded catalog.

Always family-owned, the company has been able to consolidate over the years a leading position in the industrial brush market, particularly in the professional segment, and in shaving products, establishing itself as an industry leader.

In 1964 the production plant was moved to its present location, which has been expanded several times over the years to today’s 4,500 square meters. A path of steady growth, carried on with commitment, determination and passion by four generations of the same family. The current president, who began working in the company when he was only thirteen years old and is now over ninety years old, is still involved in the activities, joined by his grandchildren and other family members, along with numerous skilled employees.

OMEGA’s production now includes a full range of professional-quality paint brushes and rollers, as well as a wide assortment of shaving brushes and shaving gift sets made of bristle, pure badger and synthetic fiber. The quality of the products is the result of deep manufacturing expertise and meticulous selection of raw materials.

The OMEGA brand is present not only in Italy, but also in international markets, including countries with a strong manufacturing tradition in the industry.

With the entry of the Omega Paintbrush Factory, the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks welcomes a reality that represents an authentic example of entrepreneurial continuity, manufacturing excellence and the enhancement of Made in Italy.

Welcome Brushworks Omega among the Historical Trademarks of Italy!
