I Historical Trademarks of Made in Italy: Saturnia Spa

The column We the Italians of February dedicated to Historical Trademarks celebrates Terme di Saturnia, a Founding Member of the Association.

In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, nestled in 120 hectares of unspoiled nature, lies a unique place where history and hospitality are intertwined with the age-old power of thermal waters.

Here an extraordinary spring gushes forth, the result of an underground journey of more than 40 years, to resurface at a constant temperature of 37.5°C. For 3,000 years, this water has been giving well-being to popes, centurions, kings and travelers of all ages, thanks to its antioxidant and dermatological properties.

Today Terme di Saturnia is an icon of international wellness: a temple of natural longevity and a symbol of Italian hospitality.
