HISTORICAL TRADEMARKS OF MADE IN ITALY: INGHIRAMI

The first column of the year dedicated to Historical Trademarks in We the Italians magazine, pays tribute to the Inghirami shirting company, a founding member of the Association and a symbol of Made in Italy in the fashion and clothing industry.

Founded in Sansepolcro, Tuscany, in 1949 by lawyer Fabio Inghirami, the company revolutionized the market with innovations, such as the first no-stir pure cotton shirt, and is now led by the third generation of the family.

With a strategy that combines tradition and innovation, Inghirami has expanded its reach from clothing to agribusiness and art, consolidating its ties to the local area.

Among its initiatives, we mention the promotion of culture and environmental sustainability through projects such as the Medici Farm in Grignano, where organic agriculture is produced, and Palazzo Inghirami, home to numerous cultural initiatives aimed at promoting art in the area.
