Corporate Heritage Awards 2026: The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks Introduces a Special Mention

Nominations are now officially open for the 2026 Corporate Heritage Awards, Italy’s most prestigious award dedicated to promoting the historical and cultural heritage of businesses, organized by Leaving Footprints and now in its sixth year.

Once again in 2026, the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks is renewing its sponsorship of the initiative and participating in the work of the Scientific Committee tasked with selecting the winning companies.

The main new feature of this edition is the establishment of the “Special Mention from the Association of Italian Historical Trademarks, introduced with the aim of recognizing companies that have successfully integrated the “Historical Trademarks of National Interest” designation into their heritage marketing strategies, corporate communications, and efforts to promote their corporate heritage.

The introduction of this new designation represents an important recognition of the role that the Historical Trademarks of National Interest are progressively assuming as a lever for corporate heritage. In fact, recent analyses conducted by the Association highlight how this designation is increasingly being used by companies in their institutional communications, digital content, packaging, events, and initiatives aimed at promoting their identity.

The Special Mention will not be awarded simply for holding the recognition, but rather for companies’ ability to transform it into a concrete tool for storytelling, building reputation, and showcasing their history.

Companies may submit their projects in the six categories of the Award and, at the same time, compete for the Special Mention by filling out the specific section of the application form dedicated to promoting the Historical Trademarks of National Interest.

Applications will remain open until September 22, 2026, and the awards ceremony will take place in Rome in November 2026 as part of Corporate Culture Week, organized by Confindustria.

The Association of Italian Historical Trademarks invites all member companies and companies holding Historical Trademarks of National Interest to participate in the 2026 Corporate Heritage Awards, helping to promote best practices in showcasing corporate history and the “Made in Italy” legacy.
