CORPORATE HERITAGE AWARDS 2024

On November 22, as part of the XXII Corporate Culture Week, the Corporate Heritage Awards 2024 ceremony was held at the prestigious Pininfarina Hall of the Confindustria Congress Center in Rome.

The event, conceived and organized by Leaving Footprints, an academic spin-off of Università degli Studi del Sannio and Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, has reached its fourth edition. This year saw significant participation, with 61 competing companies and as many as 111 candidate projects, demonstrating the growing interest in corporate heritage and the enhancement of corporate culture.

The Association supports the Leaving Footprints project and actively participates in the Scientific Committee. The latter, chaired by Antonio Calabrò, president of Museimpresa, brings together influential academics, representatives of historic businesses and professionals in the cultural and communications sector.

Director Rocco Orefice attended the award ceremony and spoke to emphasize the central role of Historical Trademarks, rooted in the territory and able to tell the history and identity of places, generating social value through corporate heritage.

He also highlighted the importance of attracting culture and tourism, promoting artistic and craft heritage, and involving the younger generation, which is increasingly sensitive to innovation, sustainability and tradition.

This edition’s awards were given to six companies in as many categories: Luigi Lavazza, Kartell, Italgas, Pastiglie Leone, Maire Group and Maire Foundation, and Missoni. In addition to the main awards, the Scientific Committee gave three special mentions for their efforts in applying for multiple heritage marketing projects to: Salvatore Ferragamo, Biscottificio Antonio Mattei and Cimbali Group.

The Corporate Heritage Awards are not only an occasion to celebrate excellence, but also provide an important platform to promote dialogue between tradition and innovation. The award, in fact, stands out for its ability to enhance the cultural heritage of businesses, recognizing the crucial role of historical memory as a strategic lever for growth and competitiveness in the contemporary landscape.
